RT Academy’s intensive one-month program brought together over 200 journalists, editors, producers Media Executives and bloggers from across Africa, immersing them in world-class training led by experienced RT experts.
Participants were equipped with practical, industry-standard skills ranging from news production and camera work to interviewing, social media strategy, and video storytelling — essential capabilities for today’s fast-evolving media landscape.
Building on the success of the inaugural African cohort launched in 2024, the latest training reflects RT Academy’s ongoing investment in strengthening media capacity across the continent.

His professional journey includes serving as Digital Manager at Red Pepper, where he oversaw website optimisation, digital strategy and design improvements for key clients.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics and Economics from Kyambogo University, a Certificate in Cloud Computing from EdX, and the Google IT Support Professional Certificate.
He is also a versatile programmer proficient in HTML, SQL, PHP, CSS and AJAX.
